The secret is out, there will be plenty of entertainment at this year’s Newcastle Show. . .
Jousters, stunt motorcycle riders and psychics are just a hint of what Hunter people can expect at this year’s NAB Newcastle Regional Show.
Newcastle Show general manager Gina White announ-ced some of the entertainment that will amuse show-goers at the launch last Wednesday, March 3.
Ms White said the show this year would be different to previous shows.
She said apart from jousters, stuntmen and psychics, the show would host a medium show and a kid zone area with free entertainment from the Little Scally Wagz, while parents looked around.
Ms White said there would also be a number of items on display such as the popular model trams and photography entries.
But there is one thing Ms White is really excited about.
“The best thing about this year’s show is that we have adults at kids’ prices. It is $10 for everyone and kids under six years old get free entry,” Ms White said.
Another popular item at the show is the variety of show bags.
Ms White said she was not sure how many different types of show bags would be available.
“But I can tell you there are heaps, it will be a surprise to lots of people to see how many we have,” she said.
Some show bags include High School Musical bags, Dora the Explorer, Tinkerbell, Cad-bury. police , lolly and Pokemon bags.
The show has chosen to donate funds raised from certain activities to Variety, The Children’s Charity.
The Newcastle Show starts Friday, March 26, and contin-ues until Sunday, March 28.
