Glenrock bike hill climb

A GRUELLING mountain bike hill climb through the Glenrock State Conservation Area this Saturday, October 15, is the main event of an open day for the park's users.

The Glenrock Trail Alliance has built and upgraded various trails within Glenrock and the day is a chance to showcase the work they have done.

Ben Leslie, 18, of Maryland is the under-19 four-times state champion and is looking forward to to ride the course.

There are three categories for men, women and juniors with the time trial starting at 2pm.

Entry fee is $10 to $15.

Riders will need a MTBA licence, which can also be bought before the time trial.
