Among these are the tennis squad that will be training at Raworth next Saturday morning from 8am through to 12 noon.

The members of the tennis squad will be travelling to Bathurst next week to play in the Bathurst Junior Open Tournament from Saturday, March 13 to Tuesday, March 16.

The young tennis players who are in this squad are Zoe Barton, Maddison Blick, Rene Boyton, Brenton Chambers, Rachel Eastcott, Matthew Ellis, Matthew George, Yasmin Gillies, Tara Hamilton, Jowl Herbert, Kellund Jeffries, Zac Lewis, Jack Maddocks, Sam Roffey, Rhys Searant, Jens Sweaney, Tayla Wilson.

Head coach Keith Williams, along with squad coaches Jenny-Ann Fetch and Jonathan Russell will be accompanying the squad during this Bathurst trip.

The triathlon squad is travelling to Mudgee for a SJS race day on Sunday, March 24, and this race day will serve as the squad’s March activity.

The athletes participating in this program are Matt Baker, Matt Brady, Jasmine Frankel, Sasha Frankel, Shane Ilgen, Morgen Kafer, Tayla Kafer, Scott Llewellyn, Renee Mainwaring, Josh Morris, Nicola Bird, Mitch Baker, Jackson Carey, Elliott Collins, Kiah Frankel, Patrick Moore, Blythe Quick, Annabel Robinson, Mikhele Rundle, Bryce, Woodley, Morgan Woodley, Grant Melzer, Kurt Sadler and Sean Sadler.

Steve Quick, Rod Cook and Neville Morris are doing a great job in co-ordinating this program as it moves from “strength to strength”.

The softball squad has a training session at Stevenson Park, Mayfield West, next Sunday from 1 to 4pm.

Head coach Chris Roughley and her coaching staff, Alan Morris and Ross Bryan, are very pleased with the progress being made by their squad members, and are looking forward to some good results from the upcoming inter academy tournaments.
