THE creative talents of 60 Hunter TAFE fashion design students were on show at City Hall last week.
The annual event featured certificate III, certificate IV and diploma student creations across swimwear, studio design, and red carpet categories.
Head teacher Rose Brown said many people were stunned at the talent and skills demonstrated on the catwalk by students.
"The NEWGEN event is the culmination of a year of designing, cutting, pinning and stitching, with all students presenting their own individual creations," Ms Brown said.
Students from each program had a task and a theme to work towards for the parade.
The fabric for the swimwear was designed by graphic design students and digitally printed.
Certificate IV students created a dress with a citrus flavour, while diploma students designed a three-piece range.
