THE Hunter's growing talent of figure skaters has impressed judges at this month's national championships in Brisbane.
Fourteen-year-old Kailani Craine was first in the junior ladies' division, while fellow 14-year-old Megan Brook won gold in the intermediate ladies' division. Emma Carr, 11, snagged gold in the novice ladies' division.
Megan and Kailani also took the titles of national champion.
This was Megan's first national medal competing in the intermediate ladies' division.
For international level skaters Emma and Kailani, these were not their first national medals.
Emma took home a silver medal last year while Kailani received her third gold medal.
