AN appearance from a giant Santa Claus, a herd of colourful reindeer and a neat pile of perfectly wrapped presents - you might be mistaken for thinking the North Pole has come to Lake Macquarie.
For the past 15 years, Cardiff South resident Darren Stuart (pictured) has brought Christmas cheer to his street.
This year, Mr Stuart hopes his 'Lights to Delight' display, will raise $600 for the Make a Wish Foundation.
Up to 70 people each night visit the lights and he expects the numbers to increase in the lead up to Christmas.
■ To see Mr Stuart's lights, go to Bressay Close, Cardiff South from dusk until 10pm each night.
