NSW Police have lodged $16-million plans for three new police stations in Lake Macquarie.
Lake Macquarie council is assessing development applications for a $10 million police headquarters at Belmont, a $4 million station at Toronto and a $2.3 million station at Morisset.
The old stations will be demolished to make way for new buildings.
The future of Boolaroo, Cardiff, Charlestown and Swansea police stations is uncertain.
