RESTORATION of Newcastle's oldest European cemetery, Cathedral Park, has continued with the reinstatement of two historic headstone monuments to their burial plots earlier in the month.
The work is part of a plan to recreate the cemetery.
The project is part of the city's revitalisation and it is expected to take up to 18-months to reinstate some of the 84 headstones moved.
