TORONTO’S Lake Macquarie Classic Boatfest and Toronto NAIDOC Day were some of the biggest winners in the latest round of Community, Sporting and Cultural Assistance Program grants handed out by Lake Macquarie council.
Na Ya Boo Larng is set to receive $1500 cash and $1885 in council services for NAIDOC Day while the Lake Macquarie Classic Boat Association is set to receive $2000 cash and $4086 in council services.
The council was due to vote on the panel’s $22,032 worth of recommendations as The Star went to press.
