CARDIFF Heights teenager Kai Chapman has been crowned national champion at the 2013 Cycling Australia Junior Track National Championships held in Adelaide.
The championships, which were held in the Super-Drome, Gepps Cross, showcased Australia’s best juniors across a number of events, including the sprint, the keirin, 500-metre time trial, team pursuit and 2000-metre individual pursuit.
Kai won the JM15 sprint and also picked up a bronze in the JM15 individual pursuit.
He was also fourth in the JM15 500-metre time trial final.
