THE Hunter's girls CHS team completed a highly successful state championships in Bathurst last week.
The team of Maddison Blick, Adrienne Harvey, Talia Herbert, Rachel Eastcott, Tayla Wilson, Yasmine Gilles, Katierae Fing, Holly Pearson and Eliza Rainey dominated the preliminary rounds, going through undefeated.
They progressed to the final by defeating Sydney South West 9 sets to 3 but the South Coast region proved too strong in the final with the girls going down 9 sets to 3.
A silver medal is an outstanding effort and once again highlights the strength of junior tennis in the Hunter region.
