COMMUNITY consultation on the Warners Bay Town Centre Strategy is complete, and Lake Macquarie council has received valuable feedback.
During August and September, the council asked for input on the strategy through an online interactive map, information booths, workshop and online surveys.
The online interactive map proved useful, with options to make positive or negative comments or other suggestions.
Some of the suggestions have included open-dining areas, bigger car parks, more lakeside accommodation and the esplanade's closure to cars.
Others were less impressed, and stated they did not want Warners Bay to become a busy CBD.
The council is collating the feedback and will prepare a set of recommendations to present to councillors later this year.
