Thousands are expected to flock to King Edward Park for the 28th annual Newcastle Herald Newcastle City Carols By Candlelight.
Entertainers Adam Scicluna, Bob Corbett, Danni Hodson, Lauren Wheatley and Nick Thoroughgood will sing a medley of Christmas tunes to get the crowd in the mood for the holiday season.
The Milton Ward Orchestra and The Hunter Singers will provide backup for the singers throughout the evening.
Santa is also expected to make an appearance at the end of the night.
Free parking will be available for carollers at the King Street car park.
■ Carols By Candlelight will be held this Friday, December 13, from 7pm till 9pm in King Edward Park.
