They were part of a 400-strong Australian team that competed against athletes from 29 other countries in nine sports.
New Lambton swimmer Belinda Prince took home gold in the 200-metre breaststroke; silver in the 100m individual medley and gold in the 400m medley relay with Australian teammates Deana Horvat, Mellissa Jarvis and Claire Pearson.
Miss Prince was also awarded a fourth place ribbon in the 100m breaststroke.
Cardiff South's Geoff Kirby won gold in the 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle and bronze in the 200m freestyle.
Mr Kirby also placed first in the 400m freestyle relay along with Bradley Doolan, Jordan Overs and Zac Telfer.
Tenpin bowler Stephen Bennett, from Coal Point, won gold in the singles, doubles and team events.
West Wallsend footballer Bradley Rowe, Boolaroo footballer Mark Chalmers and North Lambton basketballer Arron Fitzpatrick were awarded participation ribbons.
