Sydney's Mark Bridge scored a single winning goal against Newcastle in the 33rd minute when the two teams met at Hunter Stadium last Saturday.
Bridge, an ex-Newcastle player, famously scored the winner in The Jets' grand final win against Central Coast in 2008 but has since made a habit of hurting his old club.
The Jets will play Brisbane Roar this Friday, December 20, at Suncorp Stadium, Adelaide United on December 29 at Coopers Stadium, and Perth Glory on January 4 at Hunter Stadium.
