The team started out strong in the second-last match of 2013, taking a 2-0 win against Brisbane, but its streak ended there.
Adelaide United and Perth Glory both left Newcastle with nothing to add to its tally, while the most recent match against Melbourne Victory ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, the Jets will take on Melbourne Heart this weekend with a card up its sleeve.
The team has signed Johnny Warren Medal winner Joel Griffiths for the remainder of the season, six years after he led the Jets to their only A-League championship.
The Newcastle Jets and Melbourne Heart will play at AAMI Park this Friday, January 17, at 7.30pm.
