On the day, 30 tonnes of rubbish was collected across 90 clean-up sites in the region.
There were 39 people working at the wetlands site.
About 10 tonnes of waste was retrieved, including bottles, cans, discarded car parts and camping equipment.
Belmont Wetlands State Park Trust chairman Greg Wright said this amount was slightly down from last year.
"I think it's a very effective exercise, and such a great example of community engagement," Mr Wright said.
