Awarded Lake Macquarie's Young Citizen of the Year for 2014, the Warners Bay mother of four is the founder and director of the Field of Dreams charity.
Founded last year, the charity's initial goal was to raise money for people living in low socio-economic circumstances.
However, severe bushfires in NSW last October led Mrs Judd to pursue something more.
Next month, Field of Dreams will host its Pinstripe & Pearl Benefit Ball to support Thornton-based not-for-profit organisation Ozzie Care Services.
The money raised at the 1920s-themed event will be used to buy a disaster relief mobile command centre. The $160,000, fully equipped truck will be used in times of flood, fire and drought, manned by Ozzie Care Services.
It will act as communication headquarters and a checkpoint for victims, who will be able to place direct requests for food, clothing and other donations.
Mrs Judd said the ball was the charity's biggest event of the year.
It will include a three-course meal and entertainment from the Swing Kings and 2012 X-Factor winner Samantha Jade.
There will also be an auction of beauty, outdoor and holiday packages.
■ The ball will be held on Saturday, April 12, at 6.30pm at Newcastle Panthers. Tickets are $150 per person. Call Bianca Judd on 0415 213 568.
