Newcastle council seeks to focus its programs to meet community needs and to deliver the best possible services to citizens. In order to do that, the council needs to hear from you.
Now is your opportunity to provide input through Community Survey 2014, which will help the council understand your priorities and how you feel about the performance of local government.
The council uses community surveys, among other tools, to measure satisfaction with its programs and services.
The survey is open for anyone in the community to complete and there are no right or wrong answers.
The council is simply seeking your opinion, which is highly valued.
Survey results will be used in future planning, to make sure that funding and the efforts of council employees go towards what matters most to you.
The survey closes on April 22, so please take 15 minutes of your time to complete it and have your say.
To access the survey, go to the council’s website newcastle.nsw.gov.au, click on the yellow council tab at the top, then community consultation, then current consultations.
The survey is undertaken every two years and results will be shared with the community.
Previous reports are also available on the council website newcastle.nsw.gov.au under completed consultations.
Again, I urge you to share your opinion and make your voice heard.
