New to boatfest, the Notorious made its way into Lake Macquarie for the first time on the Easter weekend, proving popular with families.
Some even dressed up for the occasion as they hopped aboard for a tour.
The ship was built in 2011 based on a caravel, a type of ship used in the 15th century.
After being on show to thousands of people at boatfest, the Notorious will continue her voyage to Townsville before returning to Victoria in November.
Another popular attraction was the annual Quick 'N' Dirty boat-building competition.
It received five entries this year, none of which earned the Titanic award for sinking.
Lake Macquarie Classic Boatfest Association president Jim Knowles said the event was "spectacular".
"The weather gods turned it on," he said.
About 55 classic sailboats, steamboats and cruisers were on display over the weekend.
