THE Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange is inching forward, with the release of environmental documentation. The report, which includes never-before seen artist's impressions of the project, estimates it will unlock $1.5 billion of investment in Glendale and Cardiff. Lake Macquarie mayor Jodie Harrison said the project would create new jobs and boost economic growth. However, Cr Harrison said it was important to balance this growth with impacts on the environment, which was why the documents were on exhibition.
