Both games are must wins for the North Stars, who face an uphill battle to make the final four by the end of the Australian Ice Hockey League regular season.
The North Stars will put everything on the line to win the two games, which will be played at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium in Warners Bay.
The North Stars will look to deliver a big defeat to the Thunder on Saturday night following the result from the last home game - a 5-0 defeat.
Saturday's game will be backed up with an encounter against the Sydney Bears on Sunday.
