NEWCASTLE Art Space has confirmed it will run its 2014 exhibition program as planned, despite surprise news from the council that the building it resides in will be put up for tender. The 2014 exhibition program includes the annual Newcastle Community Arts Centre Studio Artist's Exhibition this month and next, as well as the 14th annual Newcastle Emerging Artist Prize next month. An Art Space spokesperson said the organisation was not yet able to say where it could move to.
