At Feighan Oval, the return of a number of key players was instrumental in Cardiff overcoming Warners Bay, 13.20.98 to 5.10.40.
The win has seen Cardiff continue their amazing run of competing in every Black Diamond Cup final since the league's inception in 2000.
Newcastle City secured second place on the ladder, beating Nelson Bay 15.14.104 to 10.12.72.
At Adelaide St Oval, Terrigal Avoca made it a clean sweep over their Central Coast rivals Killarney Vale, winning 14.15.99 to 4.10.34.

In first division, Wyong Lakes claimed the minor premiership with a 22-point win over Maitland. Terrigal Avoca and Newcastle City warmed up for the finals with good wins over Killarney Vale and Nelson Bay respectively, while Warners Bay and Lake Macquarie played an exciting draw. Cardiff had the bye.
In second division, The Entrance Bateau Bay have claimed a historic finals appearance in their first season with a 20-point win over next week's opponent Warners Bay. Newcastle City claimed second position with a win over Muswellbrook, while Terrigal Avoca and Maitland also recorded wins.
