The club has been around for more than 70 years, and this year it will introduce some new events.
It will also host the Mosquito Catamaran National Titles over the Christmas and New Year break.
The new season will run from September to April with an Americas Cup-style sprint series, and the use of on water and handicap starts to benefit new sailors.
The changes are designed to make racing more fun for new and old members and to help inexperienced sailors gain knowledge.
"We've made some changes to incorporate a greater number of boat classes and help different levels of sailors," president Gary Powell said.
"Our annual regatta and the Pulbah Island Marathon are always popular and they will be back this year, plus we will be hosting the Mosquito national titles for 16 foot catamarans, which should be exciting."
Last year the club had more than 50 members and it is hoping to increase that number this season.
Memberships for junior and student sailors will be priced affordably at $50 while senior memberships will cost $130.
