Hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, bikes and trucks will fill Stockland Glendale's car park this Sunday, October 19, as part of the Newcastle Restored Vehicle Club's Spring Cruiz-In.
The annual event attracts more than 300 vehicles every year.
Their drivers will meet at Glendale before setting out on a 60-kilometre cruise to the Hunter Valley Gardens via Buchanan, Mulbring, Elrington, Kearsley and Cessnock.
At the gardens the cars will be on display in a show and shine exhibition.
In this section, trophies are awarded to the best-kept cars in each category.
A $5 donation from vehicles entering the exhibition will be collected upon entry.
The first 500 spectators will receive a goodie bag.
Newcastle Restored Vehicle Club captain Glenn Towndrow said the fun won't stop there.
There will also be a raffle, live 1950s and '60s rock'n'roll, face painting and food stalls.
"Whether you are participating in the cruise or just coming along for a fantastic day out with the family, this is one event not to miss," Mr Towndrow said.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
