WARATAH triathlete Lorcan Redmond has made history.
The 14-year-old smashed two decades-old records at the NSW All Schools Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park.
Redmond ran the 1500-metre sprint in just 4min.07 sec. and broke the record that had stood since 1984.
The year 8 St Philips Christian College student then smashed the 3000m record from 1991, finishing the race in 9min.07 sec..
Redmond also ran the 800 m and came fourth - a new personal best.
Despite missing out on the podium, Redmond was ecstatic.
"I never lose. I win or learn," he said.
