The students sang Joy to the World, Silent Night, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and an "Aussie" version of Jingle Bells.
Santa also made a surprise appearance after the show to hand out lollies to the choir.
For 27 years Kmart has teamed up with the Salvation Army to make Christmas just a little bit brighter for those families in need.
This year they have set the target of collecting 500,000 gifts.
In 2013, the Wishing Tree Appeal collected more than 470,000 gifts across the country.
■ The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal runs until Christmas Eve.
