Mrs Clark's days are numbered.
The 27-year-old wife and mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and secondary liver cancer in August.
Mrs Clark exceeded doctors' initial expectations, but she knows time is running out.
She said chemotherapy had bought her more time to plan for her absence, particularly for five-year-old daughter Nyah.
"I spend most of my time writing journal entries for Nyah to read when I'm gone," she said.
"I've also written birthday cards, Christmas cards and wrapped gifts, such as pieces of my jewellery, for her to open on those occasions."
While Mrs Clark comes to terms with her illness, her friends Krystal Longworth and Kirra Elsley have planned a fund-raiser in her honour.
The trio have only known each other for a short time, but Mrs Clark said Ms Longworth and Mrs Elsley were special.
"I've always had a beautiful group of friends but I've never had friends like them.
"They have worked so hard."
The benefit night, named Losing Our Locks for Lyndsey, will see eight of Mrs Clark's friends and family shave their heads to raise money, including Ms Longworth and Mrs Elsley.
To be held at Wests Mayfield this Saturday, November 29, the night will also include raffles, silent auctions and lucky door prizes.
Their goal is to raise $27,000, of which they have already raised $12,890 through a barbecue and a McDonalds fun night.
Due to overwhelming community support, the benefit night has sold out.
