The Swansea Chamber of Commerce, which co-ordinates the free event with 2281 Combined Christian Churches, introduced the market to support local businesses.
There will be about 15 stalls, including food vendors. Showbags, Christmas craft, jewellery and toys will also be on offer.
Chamber president Tony Rich said it would give the local economy a boost while allowing people to buy last-minute presents.
"So many local businesses support this event to bring the community together, so it's time we gave back to them," Mr Rich said.
All of the family favourites will return, including amusement rides, face painting and a visit from Santa.
The Kahibah Funky Brass Band will kick-off the show at 5pm before carols at 7pm.
Headlining the concert is The Voice Australia 2014 entrant Emily Rex.
Also performing on the night is Lake Macquarie's Matt Purcell; Rich and Famous and the 2281 Combined Christian Churches band. Swansea RSL Club will put on a spectacular fireworks finale over the water at 9pm.
■ Swansea Carols is on this Saturday, December 20 at Thomas Humphreys Reserve from 5pm.
