ADAMSTOWN resident Sarah Morrison was the winner of The Star on Holidays 2014 photo competition.

Her husband, Deano, took the photo of Chris Plain, Sarah Morrison and Jodie Plain reading The Star at sunrise by the rock.

The couples were on a kids-free getaway at Uluru.

It was an "off-the-cuff comment" that had The Star on location with them.

She said she thought Uluru was "one of the those things you had to do in Australia" and now it would be more memorable.

For her efforts, Mrs Morrison won a getaway escape package to Shoal Bay Resort & Spa.
