I originally thought this book would be an in-depth look at the story behind Not That Kind, the 2000 debut album by American singer-songwriter Anastacia (featuring such hits as I'm Outta Love and Yo Trippin').

Turns out it's actually a memoir book by Lena Dunham, the creator, writer, producer and director of Girls, and therefore just as appealing a read.

I can't wait to get into this. I find Dunham's film and TV work to be daring and brutally honest and dark and subtle and, most of all, very funny.

We may laugh at Hannah Horvath as she says she aspires to be the (or at least a) "voice of her generation", but when it comes to Dunham herself, well, I reckon she might not be far off the real thing.
