The club joins seven others in the competition - Merewether, Adamstown, Wallsend, South Wallsend, Valentine, Thornton and Mid North Coast.
Warners Bay will field teams in under-14s, 16s, 18s and first grade divisions.
Some of the club's most elite players represent the first grade side.
According to their coach Jason Daniluck, the WPL is the best place for them to get noticed.
"A lot of these girls playing in the WPL will have a good shot at making the W-League [Jets]," Daniluck said.
"The top three or four players could easily step across to the Jets - that's the sort of quality we have on this team."
While joining the WPL opens up a world of opportunity for some players, club president Darren Sylvester said it was a long time coming.
"This is something we have worked hard to attain for quite some time and we are all very proud as a club to be able to qualify for the WPL and offer our female players the opportunity to compete at an elite level," Sylvester said. The WPL starts on Sunday, March 15.
Warners Bay teams will host their Thornton counterparts at Warners Bay's St John Oval with the first game (under-14s) at 9am.
