THE Newcastle Household Chemical CleanOut is on again this Saturday, March 28, at the Tighes Hill TAFE student car park on Maitland Road from 9am to 3.30pm. It is open to all Hunter residents. Materials that can be dropped off include chemicals, poisons and paint, fluorescent globes and tubes, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, car batteries, motor oils, fuels and fluids. Only household quantities will be accepted - 20 kilograms or 20 litres is the maximum container size. Go to cleanout.com.au for more information or you can phone 131 555.
