The competition was a weekly tiebreak round robin in three graded divisions - open grade, green ball and orange ball.
Points won by competitors on each night accumulated into a point score to decide the winners and runners-up of each division.
The competition had a fantastic atmosphere with the juniors and their parents enjoying the social interaction.
The family night, played on Friday 13th, was an outstanding success with the suspension of competition for the night allowing parents to get on court and mix with their children. Everybody finished the night with a massive smile, so the family night is definitely on next term’s calendar.
Congratulations Sarah Guy (open grade), Matthew Tull (green ball) and Georgia Steenson (orange ball) as winners of their respective divisions.
Sarah Jenkins (open grade), Hamish Alexander (green all) and Matilda Flynn (orange ball) were runners-up in their respective divisions.
For our juniors participation, effort and sportsmanship are most important so the Coaches Awards went to Mitchell Wilson-Jones, Thea Graham and Jessica Mantilla.
Well done to all the participants and we look forward to continuing the great vibe of Friday nights when competition recommences on April 24.
