This year will be no exception as he takes to the Pacific Highway for a special year in Anzac history - the 100th anniversary.
Mr Dhnaram belongs to the Australian Light Horse Association in Murrurundi. He grew up on a farm in the tiny township of Kyogle, NSW, and has always loved horses.
Mr Dhnaram has travelled as far as Israel to take part in re-enactments of the famous Battle of Beersheba, in which Australian soldiers charged on Turkish forces in October 1917.
This year, while carrying the Australian flag, he will lead an 11am march to Swansea RSL Sub-Branch's daytime service at the new Rising Sun memorial.
Mr Dhnaram said it was important to pay tribute on Anzac Day.
"I appreciate the people that laid down their lives so I could live under the Australian flag."
