THERE was not a lot of local tennis activity over the weekend with Mother’s Day taking precedence, however, most clubs and centres took the advantage of some fine weather to conduct there regular junior competitions and social tennis activities.

All reports were of strong turn outs, which was great to see.
Lake Macquarie Tennis Centre is pleased to announce a junior inter club challenge with Hunter Tennis Academy, Singleton on Sunday, May 31.
A bus has been organised to transport the players and parents to Singleton, lunch is provided and with the opportunity to play on the traditional natural grass a great day is a assured.
