The council has proven that library spaces can be flexible to allow for a variety of programs and events to be delivered.
The relocation of Cardiff Library last year into Cardiff's retail hub has been a positive step, with a 71 per cent increase in visitation and a 48 per cent increase in loans, compared to the same time last year.
To continue this success, the community is invited to be a part of our story by sharing stories, pictures and inspirations so the council can improve library services and program delivery at the Belmont and Edgeworth branches.
Belmont and Edgeworth libraries already provide a significant contribution to their communities, including supporting education and literacy programs and providing recreational activities.
In sharing your experiences and your images, you can be a part of the story.
You can help us build on the strengths and maximise the potential of these important spaces by visiting haveyoursaylakemac.com.au/lake-mac-libraries and uploading your ideas.
The most creative or innovative ideas for Belmont and Edgeworth libraries will win an iPad Mini.
