The popular pool has been retiled and undergone a renewal of all plant equipment.
There is a new entry and the reception and kiosk areas have been updated.
The centre's multi-purpose rooms have also been refurbished so additional fitness and wellbeing programs like yoga and Pilates can be held at the centre.
The pool will continue to operate year-round so it is a great place to visit these school holidays.
School holiday intensive learn-to-swim programs are back up and running at the centre. Classes are suitable for children of all ages and bookings are essential on 4953 2299.
For those wanting to stay dry these school holidays, the council is also delivering a jam-packed program of workshops and events to cater to children of all ages with a wide range of affordable activities.
Lake Mac Libraries and the Lake Macquarie Art Gallery have plenty to offer, from designing a robot or Lego comic strip, to meeting famous authors or taking part in a winter warmer story time.
