The Hunter team held off IRB Winter Premiership Series winners Kiama Downs and strong competitors South Maroubra to claim the overall club championship for the 11th time in 13 years.
Caves Beach catapulted to the top of the leader board after dominating most divisions and placing in finals.
Highlights included the club’s one-two finish in the open male tube, and a gold and bronze medal in the under-23 mixed tube event.
The club’s attention will now turn to the national titles, to be held at Queensland’s Mooloolaba Beach from July 17 to 19, where last year they finished fourth.
