The association’s under-12s side won the division two state age crown at the Netball NSW State Championships.

It followed the association’s tight win in the under-21s championship division, where Charlestown defeated Newcastle by a single point.

The under-12s side finished the tournament undefeated with 15 wins and one draw, three points ahead of runners-up Inner Western Suburbs.

Charlestown also fielded three other teams in the event - under-13s, which finished ninth, and under-15s, which finished seventh.
