This year's festival will focus on how to live more with less; it will be about getting back to basics.
If you are a market stallholder, community or sporting group or food and drink vendor, and you have a 'green' conscience, then your stall could feature in this event.
The festival has become one of the most popular events on the council's calendar and one that effectively increases awareness of sustainability issues and trends through music, demonstrations, hands-on activities, fashion and food.
Getting back to basics this year will be MasterChef Australia 2013 winner Emma Dean, who will host a cooking demonstration and share tips on how to eat sustainably, using healthy, locally-sourced fresh produce.
More than 25,000 people attended the festival last year.
That made this council's premier sustainability and environmental event.
Event organisers are seeking people interested in setting up food stalls, market stalls, or stalls to inform the public about different ideas, innovations and products available to live more sustainably.
If you would like to join the event, email events@lakemac.com.au or phone 4921 0333 before Friday, August 15.
