Op Shop Week, which runs from August 23 to 30, aims to highlight unique and affordable clothes available through your local op shop.
Salvos Store Hunter area manager Harold Cleveringa said The Salvos ran nine regional stores full of quality, second-hand clothing.
Money raised through The Salvos stores goes towards funding its community work, including providing 100,000 meals for the hungry and 2000 beds for the homeless every week.
They also help another 1000 people with employment assistance and another 3000 elderly people with aged care services every week.
A special pop-up boutique will be set up for National Op Shop Week on the Wednesday in the South Piazza at Charlestown Square offering shoppers a range of vintage and current fashion to buy.
Fashion commentator Faye De Lanty from The Morning Show will be on hand to give styling tips and advice throughout the day.
