Newcastle's rocky coastline will be the venue for an exciting public science event over the next few weeks. Participants will have the chance to be field geologists for a morning, and explore the history of Newcastle's landscapes. The Newcastle rocks for National Science Week 3km stroll starts at Nobbys beach near the surf lifesaving club, August 23 and September 6, 9am-noon, to book phone 4931 6720 or email geosurvey.events@trade.nsw.gov.au.
