A week after upsetting the Panthers by 17 points in the final round, the Blues delivered again.
Courtney Knight kicked four majors, including two in the final term, as City overpowered the visitors 9.15 (69) to 6.8 (44).
Although Knight was strong up forward it was the Blues’ defence and pressure which set up the win.
Jake Hartikainen and Luke Rawnsley were outstanding as the normally-potent Panthers were restricted to their lowest score of the season.
Terrigal Avoca will now meet Central Coast rivals Killarney Vale in the preliminary final after the Bombers accounted for Warners Bay in the first semi-final on Saturday.
The Bombers led at every turn on the way to a 16.7 (103) to 5.9 (39) victory.
At Adelaide St Oval on Sunday, Newcastle City were the first side through to the first division grand final when they defeated minor remiers Terrigal Avoca, 9.8 (62) to 2.10 (22).
Terrigal Avoca will now play Maitland in the preliminary final after the Saints eliminated 2014 premiers Wyong Lakes 12.11 (83) to 11.11 (77).
The Entrance Bateau Bay continued their remarkable entry into the Black Diamond AFL Second Division competition by making the grand final in just their second season when they defeated Newcastle City 7.10 (52) to 7.4 (46) at Adelaide St Oval.
