Organised by Swansea Business Chamber, it estimated about 4000 people attended the day on the suburb's channel foreshore.
Secretary Wayne Williamson said the sun cam out just in time for the seventh annual festival.
“We were fortunate to see spring appear to entice people outside to enjoy the festival,”
“Even with a light shower in the middle of the day, it didn't keep people away,” said Mr Williamson.
The festival stretched out over kilometre along the foreshore from Black Neds Bays to Swansea Primary School, with everything from live entertainment, marine related activities, kid’s activities and market stalls.
Kids enjoyed having their faces painted by Ruby the Clown, whilst parents enjoyed the soothing sounds of the musical entertainment provided throughout the day.
A draw card of the day was local reptile handler DJ French, who wowed and excited the crowd with his range of pythons, who were friendly enough for people to interact with and touch.
The festival was sponsored by Lake Macquarie City Council.
