The Wallsend Local Centre Public Domain Plan gives scope for footpath improvements, street lighting, trees and street furniture.
It is part of a broader Wallsend Town Centre Master Plan and aims to enhance the suburb’s vibrancy and connectivity. A site anaylsis will be conducted to assess the suburb’s existing conditions.
The council will prioritise road and bridge works.
