An official ceremony was held inside the school’s hall, where the 2016 school and sports captains and vice captains were inducted.
Eryn and Cooper Griffiths and Noah, Kyah and Kobi Hodges were recognised as descendants of the original owners of the land on which the school stands.
A highlight was the ringing of the school’s original bell, which was recently restored to its former glory.
The school’s youngest student, three-year-old Emma Brenner, who attends the school’s preschool, and the two oldest students, Jorjah Salzmann and Deky Giegliarelli, cut the celebratory cake. All students were presented with a commemorative badge.
