BAT CRISIS: Councillor Val Scott is now worried about the health of her cat after finding a bat in its mouth.
She says somehow the flying fox has entered her fully enclosed varandah in Boundary Street, and then her beloved cat has bought it into her home.
Cr Scott says at first she thought it was a bird but after taking a second look realised it was a flying fox.
