The second-annual festival, organised by the Valentine Public School’s P&C, will kick off at noon on May 1 and run until 4pm.
“We invite everyone to come along and enjoy the entertainment, exhibitors, and food on offer,” Mary Carthew, secretary of the Valentine Public School P&C, said.
“There will be lots of affordable things to do and buy as well as free activities and goodies.
“It aims to be fun for all ages.”
Entry is free.
Entertainment and activities available on the day will include jumping castles, cooking demonstrations, yoga, pilates, meditation, music, dance, martial arts demonstrations, tennis coaching, party activities, children’s entertainment and face painting.
There will be more than 50 stalls ranging from disability services, organic and natural healthy products, beauty and pampering, dance, fitness services, first aid, midwifery and tennis.
Attendees can also expect to see stalls manned by Lake Macquarie community groups.
Food and drinks will be available from the P&C canteen and a wide range of food vans.
The day will include raffles, with more than $3000 worth of prizes to be won.
Money raised from the day will be used to help make improvements at the school.
